If you are coming to the Islands, you won't want to miss diving the spectacular coral reefs around the Perhentian marine park. Whether for the novice or the old-hand, the underwater world here offers something new for all...
Our friendly staff are all P.A.D.I. professionals and are very experienced, and speak a variety of languages. We offer P.A.D.I. courses for the absolute beginner through to the professional, and provide supervised dives to all the best dive sites around the Islands inner and outer coral reefs and wrecks.
Our dive shops are stocked with up to date well-maintained gear, and for your convenience, all dives are conducted by speedboat. On Pulau Besar, SEAHORSE can be found on the main beach nead Seahorse, ABC, Cocohut & Abduls Chalets. On Pulau Kecil, we have two sister shops on Long Beach - SEADRAGON & SEAHORSE. All three work as a team to provide the best service.
Perhentian Island marine park probably offers the best diving in Peninsular Malaysia. Fishing is not allowed in the park, so marine life is prodiguous. You can expect to see schools of snappers, travally and barracuda plus frequent chance encounters with green and hawksbill turtles.
There are a wide range of dive sites with something different at each one. Ask our staff what you can expect to see - some are wild rock formations covered in soft corals, whilst others are plateaus of brain and table coral. Of course each attracts its own particular varieties of fish - often in large number compared to other dive spots in asia that are perhaps better known and more intensively dived.
We can also arrange accomodation to suit all budgets, on either island. To get here, catch a taxi or bus to Kuala Besut, then take one of the regular ferry boats to the islands. |
